how long typically will it take for social services to be off my mom back they said she made poor parenting decisions… for make her step children play out side on nice days and if they screamed put them out side for screaming and if they pooped on them self she would make them sit in it for about 3 mins so they can feel how uncomfortable it is so they wont poop on them self again and the kid ages are 4, 5, 7, 9

I am at community college now and I never knew what i wanted to do so i picked the social sciences curriculum. Well there is a Health Sciences college here where I can get my Occupational Therapy degree which is an Associates. The thing is there are prerequisites that I dont have to take with my current SS track so while im here at community college can i take my pre reques even though they have nothing to do with the social sciences curriculum?
why do you think social services and society ignore child abuse in 60′s and 70′s?

my father was a violent alcoholic and mother insane. I went through
years of extreme mental and physical child abuse. My grandmother
took me to social services, but my mother told them I was retarted,
and they didn’t believe my story and the abuse continued. My

girfriend needs a lawyer for custody and social services problems any help?

my girlfriends kid was taken away by social services for a bull**** reason. her kid currently resides with her aunt under temporary physical custody through the court. she needs a lawyer for this case because both the social worker and her aunt seem to be 100% against everything my girlfriend does, pretty much working against her in every way shape or form. and if im not mistaken a social worker is supposed to work with you to reunite you with you kid/s. what im asking is if anyone on here can tell me what kind of lawyer she will need for this type of case and if anyone knows anything that would help her in this predicament ~thanx in advance~
